Dragon has recently released a couple of G17 replicas in its new 1/3 scale Firearm Series. Now another innovative item is set to join this popular family of handguns. This time it's a Glock 17 with an extended magazine. The standard magazine used with the G17 is a double-column box magazine containing 17 9x19mm Parabellum rounds of NATO standard. However, the manufacturer has made an extended 33-round magazine available too, which is the type included in this set.
As before, the model G17 is extremely well crafted, engineered in plastic to Dragon's precise specifications. The pistol has a working slide action, detachable magazine, a moveable trigger, and even cartridges that can be individually loaded. This item is made even more attractive owing to two complete G17 miniatures being included in the set. Of course, there is one extended magazine that fits snugly into the gun case. This gun case itself is a full-scale replica, and effectively protects the model pistols inside. The semi-automatic 9mm G17 has proven to be a hugely successful weapon for its designer. This replica firearm is also destined to be popular with collectors – with an extended magazine for extended appeal!
